Sultan Sulaiman Mosque, Klang

Sultan Sulaiman Mosque, Klang
http://petalingjayaselangorma.ags.my...etailID=224926
"This impressive mosque is located at Jalan Timur. It was built by the British and presented to Sultan Sulaiman in the early 19th century. Set amidst a beautifully landscaped garden, the building displays an interesting blend of British Imperial, Moorish and Arabic architecture.

A renowned British architect designed this beautiful mosque and it now stands as a proud symbol of the victory of Malaya over the British."

More than a 100 years old

This isn't Minankabau style. This picture is the replica of the Palace of Sultan Mansur Shah of Melaka in the 13th century.

This replica of the palace is situated in the heart of Bandaraya Melaka (City of Melaka) next to the famed ruins of the Porta De Santiago (A Farmosa)

Mmmm...Raja Bahrain..is it the same person that came out in the media couple of years back with the case of him vs the ex wife from Australia
Yea....Raja Bahrain is the 'famed' architect because of his adventures Down Under!

He also designed the Melawati Palace in Putrajaya and The Terengganu State Museum.

That is why his name is so familiar

The Melawati Palace is still under construction am I right. Is it suppose to be a place for the current Agong or place for all of the King ?

The construction of Melawati Palace are completed already. I guess it is now left just the interior works.

This Palace would not replace Istana Negara but would be the Yg Dipertuan Agong's residence in Putrajaya.
