Hello Malaysian friends,

It's probably not for real since it's dated April 1, 2006. I also can't imagine any Islamic country getting into the gay tourism scene at all, for obvious reasons.

What health problem mind me asking?

And, MALAYSIA IS NOT AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY! How many times do we have to remind the fundamentalists in this land?

What nonsense - even if Malaysia were 100% Sharia based you would still have the same % of gays in your population
You wanna end up like Saudi Arabia or Iran where there are no human rights for gays and they have the hypocrisy of cruising for foreign male prostitutes whilst being married?
Grow up, get real and progress - give gays equal rights

just to remind you, there are other people in malaysia and not just Muslims. If you see this as a sign of 'decay' in malaysian society...refrain yourself form participating in any of it events. The park is for adults and I'm sure for non muslims. One thing I really don't quite comprehend the metality of some Malaysians...the way you life your is pretty much how you were brought up, the world is a wide open space, you can't shut the door and pretend that you live in a 'sterile' enviroment. We should be equipped with knowledge and tolerance of what goes around the world cause eventually the world will come knockin on your door...what you gonna do, 'oh I don't see, feel and hear nothin!" and keep fighting over reality? I personally think the world should 'bring it' ...cause we could handle it. We are educated, tolerant and 'equal opportunity' nation!! For those who are threatened..check your self out before you raise your voice...if you personally have a strong faith, this is nothing but a 'dugaan dunia'. Unless you plan on living under a rock. I don't mean to be rude, just my 2 cents..peace out.

Ok guys, Its not that I'm against the homosexuals but if we built the theme park, it will bring a lot of social problem to Malaysia. You dont want Malaysia to be end up with cheap vacation 4 homo like some places in SEA do right?

If they want to built it, do it at bigger market like Thailand and Philipines.

1st. Malaysia is not an Islamic country and i don't agree with the idea of 'Islamic State' . but yes for Islamic Malay society.

2nd. Either gay or non-gay is prone to any deceaces.

3rd. Today's Malaysia Ulama/Islamic Scholars lost their credibilities due to some nonsense remarks such as....'cawat besi' to prevent raping.

btw, you know that this is just a joke.....so, why take it serious?

good that it's all joke....but then, joking or not, i can see how you feel and react when this issue arises. dont really see a problem if malaysia is an islamic country. if look carefully to the islamic law, non muslim are well taken care of and shoud be safe. really surprises me on how people react with this islamic country. really show even in malaysia, the phobia on Islam is well exist..altho the violence by so called extremist/fundamentalist barely there. and what's up with 'equal opportunity' nation stuff...why with aposthrope...if it is equal opportunity say it equal opportunity not just 'equal opprtunity'....but guys this is my 2 cents, 5 cents whatever cents....hoping no defensive reply on my post....remember equal opportunity on giving reply...have a nice day people

What kind of social problem would it bring to Malaysia? Gays going around raping the guys in Malaysia?

"cheap vacation 4 homo"? Excuse me, but please do a research on how BKK and Phuket's economy grow by being gay-friendly, and please also read up on how Mardi Gras has helped Sydney in its overall economy and image building, and why Sydneysiders refused to stop Mardi Gras few years back even when the organiser was not making profit, and how Sydneysiders revived it.

Please also take a stroll on KL's Bukit Bintang and see how these 'cheap homos' spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on clothes, and without the 'cheap' homo designers I guess Bukit Bintang can just close its doors coz I bet the business will at least be cut down by one fourth if not half.

How 'cheap' can homo vacations be when there are so many homos in the fashion industry, entertainment industry, design industry, and many many more. If homo come out to spend money is regarded as cheap, then please pay a visit to KL, and see how KL has turned so cheap, and Singapore too, and BKK too, and Sydney too, and HK too, and NYC, and everywhere else in the world is also cheap then.
