BREAKING NEWS

19 November 2007 From a blog

Amazing, amazing, the signs are there, yet people still refuse to believe what has been reported. They still held a firm belief in Sunshine Empire. Here is a minimise newspaper clipping from The New Paper published on 19 November 2007:

Quote:
THE affairs of some companies linked to Sunshine Empire have come under the spotlight again, this time in Taiwan. An 'affiliated company' of Sunshine Empire, Empire Communications Technology (Emcom), has claimed on its website that it plans to invest more than $20million in a broadband project there. The company, whose registered office is at the Toa Payoh Hub, has 'invested heavily into Taiwan' to build 'a seamless wireless broadband that will cover more than 95 per cent of the city of Taichung'. It claimed that the project will be completed by the end of this year.

However, a check with the Information Management Section of the Department of Planning of the Taichung City Government showed no evidence of this. Ms Huang Hui-Ming, chief of the section, told The New Paper on Sunday that Emcom does not have any partnership with the Taichung City government.

She said the company had never contacted its department regarding the broadband project. Ms Huang noted that while it is true that the city's government plans to build a wireless Internet network, it is part of a project proposed by the Industrial Development Bureau of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs.

And this government-initiated project is being handled by Asia Pacific Telecom Group (APTG). Ms Huang said: 'After contacting APTG about Emcom, we understand that EmCom is not involved in the government-funded M-Taichung project. (So, what exactly is EmCom doing in Taiwan??)

Empire Property Venture (a member of the Sunshine Empire), is supposedly involved in, including a Malacca Empire Marine Theme Park and A Magic Kingdom theme park in Sabah.

The authorities in Malacca and Sabah had earlier told The New Paper on Sunday that they have no information on the existence of these projects.

When contacted, the Mayor of the Malacca City Council, Datuk Zaini Md Nor, said that to date, they had not received any proposals for such a theme park there.

He added that he had received an application in August for the approval of a plan by Empire Property Venture to build a commercial and residential building of 510 units on 0.87 ha of land which is slightly larger than a football field. (that's why the billboard states a building only)

But this project has not been approved. (No such projects have taken place, no showrooms available, and yet they are marketing it, all sold to their own members. Don't you find it fishy? For all you know, these are all just words said by Sunshine Empire?)

[But what about this said by the Chief Minister...http://www.empirepropertyventure.com...g_malakaCM.pdf ???]

She also said there were units available for a higher-end project in Kuala Lumpur called the Empire State Tower.

However, a check with the City Hall of Kuala Lumpur revealed that no such project is in the works at present.

A spokesman said: 'City Hall Kuala Lumpur has not received any application for a property to be developed at Jalan Tun Razak called the Empire State Tower.' (No application have been processed, and (if) they are already building it, its illegal.)

Their website mention that the company was involved in a successful project before this, called Bandar Alam Perdana, Shah Alam. However this project is a failed project owned by Prime Utilities Berhad and co-developed with Fountain View Group Bhd (Fountain View and Prime are related behind the scene and both has been a bankrupt company).

From Sunshine Empire to Empire Sunshine haha.

This project is Such a Scam... cause I can feel that this developer is actually a Pyramid Scheme company, furthermore it states that it's backbone is in Taiwan lol.

Sources said the developer couldnt sell the properties they first launch to outsiders, so it concentrated on its own members. Why they can sell? Malaysian Securities Commission has listed Sunshine Empire on its investor-alert list. It advised the public not to make any investment with companies that are not licensed or approved by it.

Now they're offering people a chance to join the company and get a property. They do the "marketing" for their properties at their direct sales meetings weekly i supposed.

Quote:
They're planing to launch a bigger project in Sabah - an underwater water theme park. Artists' impressions of the park in Sabah, called The Magic Kingdom, showed a lavish underwater hotel. An aerial view showed a network of structures in the water which took the shape of a lobster. These structures are purportedly underwater hotel rooms. "You can open the curtains to your room and see your friends swimming outside", said one representative.
Let's hope that they will change to become a genuine developer.

He strongly believes that everyone has the will to succeed. However not everyone may know how to achieve his or her desires and dreams. David was given the opportunity then in Network Marketing. Under the guidance of International President Mr. James Phang, he has learnt that Network Marketing was not just a means of income but a fulfilling career that opens to unlimited opportunities. Mr. James Phang not only imparted his precious knowledge on Network Marketing but also changed his life for the better. Teaching him how to overcome obstacles that came against him.
Okay, guys, I can't say for sure this is a scam but this certainly has something to do with pyramid scheme or Ponzi... be 101% cautious when dealing with them... 'coz its managing director, David Phang, has such close connection with James Phang.

Search "James Phang" in google and you'd know what I mean...

Sentral: Mercu tanda baru di Klebang Besar
Oleh Siti Nor Saadah Mdh Yusof

Taman Tema Empire Marine bernilai RM600 juta bakal siap menjelang 2011

MELAKA: Melaka bakal mendapat satu lagi mercu tanda apabila projek Taman Tema Empire Marine Melaka berharga RM600 juta siap dibina di kawasan Klebang Besar dekat sini menjelang 2011.

RM600m marine park to woo tourists
Monday December 17, 2007
TheStar

MALACCA: The state will have a new tourist attraction with the completion of the RM600mil Malacca Empire Marina Park in Klebang Besar within four years.

The project, undertaken by Empire Properties Ventures Sdn Bhd, will have a marine theme park, a 10,000-seat international convention centre, sailing boat docks, a three-storey shopping complex, 510 small offices, 1,397 apartment units, a five-star hotel with 3,000 rooms, historical gallery and a replica Dutch ship.

The company's president Datuk Alex Teh said three lionhead-shaped water villages would be the pride of the project.

“The lionhead water villages will be supported by stilts and will be above the sea water. A total of 1,140 chalets will be built with three distinctive styles on each head,” he said.

Teh said the chalet designs would follow the Malacca kampung house, Chinese and European styles.

“The concept is somewhat like Dubai Palm Resort where homes are built on man-made islands but here they will be built on stilts,” he told reporters before the start of piling works for the project.

He said that 80% of the 510 small offices had been taken up and they would be constructed within 14 months.

“Due to lack of space for the project, we will undertake land reclamation of 69ha and have sought approval from the state,” Teh said.

He said the firm was banking on tourists from China making up more than 50% of the visitors after completion of the park.

“People in China know more about Malacca than Kuala Lumpur because they know about the former trading port’s history and Admiral Cheng Ho’s visit in the 16th century,” he said.
