I really hope the Unite building can incorporate the canal as done here.

Not on the side near the Ashted Top Lock Reiss. That all covered with trees and bushes.

To be fair, they've said that about projects which never started, probably never will.

It's now possible to walk around the perimeter of the building, all the barriers have been removed and you can access the canal towpath from both ends of the building.

Work is still going on internally with loads of contractors vehicles on the car park.

Metrogogo were you able to take any photos of the ex Eurostar train through the windows?

The fences are slotted so you should be able to get your camera through it (science park side).

yes, Ell managed to get 3 shots but the reflection from the windows spoilt them, I'll put them at the end of this update.

The ex Eurostar locomotive now seems to have been rebranded Brumstar, the name appears on both sides of the driver's cab.

I got called away from the computer doing the last update, so had to cut it short, (sorry folks) so here's the second installment.

The address in the title is incorrect, Venture Way Has been completely built over.

The correct address is 2 Lister Street, Birmingham, B7 4AG and can be found here: https://nchsr.ac.uk/contact-us/

Pretty sure Venture Way classes as the on site car park!

The finger post near the bridge I cross needs correcting or updating.

Activity at the National College for High Speed Rail today. The gates near Dartmouth Middleway were open.

This was after the heavy lunchtime rain had stopped!

A section of masts and OHLE have been erected leading into the locomotive hall, I couldn't tell if the OHLE extends further into the hall, making it possible to power up the Eurostar loco.
