More PICTURES & INFO in the post here.[/QUOTE]
I hope somebody just screwed up the reflections when they rendered it and it's not going to be literally invisible...you can see buildings and the bay that's behind it 'reflected' in the glass.

DoBro is sliowly looking like a sateltie neighborhood of Manhattan. One can only imagine what the next door 9 Dekalb will do to it.

It's nothing special, but I don't agree. Poor architecture? What about that crap to the left and right, now that's what I call POOR. This is bland, but decent. I think it looks far better than its surrounding towers. It's simple but bright and modern.

It will obviously elevate the standard of architecture in the district. Up to now, the level has been rather bad, let's not mince words here.

To me it looks like a giant Ikea shelf. Very unimaginative and asymetric and cheap looking. Vert typical of Extell. Atleast we will get a nice design with SHOP skyscraper next door.

Is it me or is that rendering missing a bridge?

that's the Lower East Side, not the financial district. You can see Manhattan Bridge obscured on the bottom left next to One Manhattan Square.

Ah so that's One Manhattan Square next to Manhattan bridge not Verizon next to Brooklyn Bridge.

On second thought, I have come around to the opinion that was bluntly stated above and which I had misguidedly opposed: this building looks like an IKEA shelf
