I looked at that and straight away thought why are the bollards in the path and not on the border like the other 2 further back?

We may see the HSBC UK signage go up over the entrance after all, I've noticed brackets and a white electrical wire (tapped up) have appeared above the revolving doors. Only time will tell!

Just spoken to a guy who worked on the building as a project manager - there will definitely be some signage but he said the reason there isn't yet is the same reason why they don't have HSBC written on the top alongside the logo.

That reason is as part of HSBC's decision to move to Bham and properly separate their retail banking from their commercial they may go one step further. We could be hearing a decision on this soon and it may not come to pass but we could see a Midland Bank rebrand, and that's why a decision on the signage hasn't been made yet.

I think this is the first time I've managed to get a shot of the whole of the front of 1CS that includes the front entrance at street level now that the hoardings have been altered.

Strange request I know but does anyone have a full picture of the HSBC 'You are Birmingham' thing? I saw one near Villa Park but was driving past and couldn't take a picture

Aside from the signage above the front door I should image so. Fingers crossed for the return of the Midland Bank brand

I’m not sure anyone can say for certain if a sign is gonna be put on there, but the building is definitely complete!
