Making good progress on this. Seems to be going up pretty fast.

I notice that the developers are looking to change the exterior of the building, from white/pale yellow to dark grey and red : https://property.swansea.gov.uk/onli...SM_-853343.pdf

The original design looks much better in my opinion. Wonder if they're changing this for cost reasons, as surely it's not for design reasons?

There are an unprecedented number of developments currently ongoing or just starting in Swansea at the moment;

Sa1 - new sancta Maria hospital
Sa1- crown student developmentf
Create construction have 2 developments in the city, one on the kingsway and the other on the former unigate dairy site.
The mariner street car park student tower has now commenced construction as well as the ongoing refurbished Alexander house.

Around Half a billion pounds worth of investment. Swansea is truly turning a corner.

Yes, starting to look good with the cranes getting in position. Looking forward to seeing this new student population in and around the City centre, and the new businesses that should pop up to cater for them.
Hopefully this will lead to other non-student apartments being built too and existing unused buildings being converted into flats, etc. A few thousand extra people living in the centre would make a huge difference.

Also, the arena should begin construction soon. Again, more people in and around this area, looking for places to eat/drink/stay. Promising...
