instead of adding championship banners and stuff, try adding lots of exterior pictures, landscaping, transportation and such. For the interior, add pics of the seating bowl structure, concourses, ramps, etc.

As great as Red Auerbach is, he really doesnt relate to the arena.

It's a much better place to watch hockey than basketball.

I'm not a fan of watching basketball in arenas that can accommodate hockey either. The stands are too far away from the court, especially at the ends. Those efforts to change the grade of the lower bowl seats is less than ideal. The angle needs to be steeper.

An interesting thing of note is that, like its predecessor, Boston Garden, TD Banknorth Garden sit directly atop North Station, one of New Englands largest transit hubs. North Station serves as the southern terminus for Amtrak's Downeaster line to Portland, ME and four MBTA commuter rail lines, and also serves two MBTA subway lines. The waiting area, with its ticket windows for arena events, restrooms and food court, serves as an intermediate concourse for arena patrons, and can become quite crowded during event nights, though recent expansions have alleviated some of the congestion.

That's why, in a few cities, NBA and NHL franchises have built separate arenas (Phoenix, Miami, Twin Cities).

TD Banknorth Garden is going green - leprechaun green - and if the city skyline starts shimmering with a golden haze around 10 p.m. tonight, it's not the Northern Lights, but the garden's new exterior lighting system celebrating a Bruins victory.

According to garden officials, the arena can now be fully illuminated with team colors at night - leprechaun green for Celtics home games and Bruins gold for when the local lads play host to NHL rivals. And when Celtics or the Bruins win a home game at night, the system has the capacity to celebrate that victory by creating a special wave effect, a garden press release said.

fenway58:

PICTURES OF THE STADIUM.
we do not care who Boston is playing, if they win a championship or if their crappy teams swept some one.

This arena is one of the worst in my opinion.
