Things sprouting up pretty rapidly over there. Something like 4 or 5 new towers in those shots compared to the first ones in this thread. Still not super impressive when taken on it's own but its growing fast.

LIC is developing just how Williamsburg was. I just hope it doesn't get too sterile. It definitely is the IT neighborhood of Queens at the moment. I remember how I used to think the place was a dump when I studied at LaGuardia back in 03. Times have changed.

The skyline would be if Hunters Point South development gets on its way. Court Square isn't looking shabby either. There are new maps for tourists and the bikeshare program will only further develop the area and make it accessible to tourists and locals alike

Definitely. Finally people are hearing about the neighborhood. It's just two subway stops from Manhattan. A lot of companies are setting up their headquarters in NYC, new hotels and condos are sprouting, one of the locations of the bike-share program, and thriving art scene. With Hunters Point South development and the Cornell-Technion campus on Roosevelt Island will only further draw people to LIC

Ofcourse its not. There are actually two clusters, those at the waterfront and the one more inland. It's not much for now, but this is an up and coming neighborhood. All of the towers you see there were built less than ten years ago except the tallest building - citicorp and there are more u/c and planned projects in this area

Queens has the best views of Manhattan in the entire region. Tied with Hoboken maybe.
