I've always thought that was a stupid name, especially as it's nowhere near Beach road. Still, a huge improvement on what's there now:

Is this a conversion or a new build? It seems that it could be a conversion considering the shape of the current building. Either way a vast improvement.

Am I wrong in saying "Strand" is Afrikaans for beach... so this building is Beach Beach no where near the beach beach. I know they just using the original name but they really should have changed it. Im just guessing that when the original building was built late 60's, High level road was called the strand street extension. The building however is a very nice improvement.

If they just added a '.' between strand and beach everything would have made sense.

This is looking very sleek, much better than the generic slop being built by Horizon, Shutters Group, Signatura, etc....
