What is interesting is that, the line will later extend to Bocaue exit @ NLEX most likely in Ciudad De Victoria where Philippine Arena is located.

I drove many times from SJDM to Marilao or Sta. Maria and the area is still semi-rural.

sir, just for clarification, only the road component will go straight to Bocaue not the railway itself

But hopefully they can extend until Ciudad De Victoria in the future.

Feb 18 ang sinasabing start ng construction. Pero ito rin ba yung Groundbreaking? Hindi ba may photo op pa with the DOTC officials like yun sa East Extension which was June 9?

The term "ground breaking" is the traditional symbolic act of starting construction for any building project. Just because ground breaking happens doesn't mean "poof", everything is in place at that very same time. As I mentioned in the previous page, a lot of behind the scenes and off-site activity do happen that is simply not visible on-site. This is still part of the construction phase.

As for photo ops, I guess we will just have to wait for it.

Update:

As of today, patuloy parin ang ginagawang soil testing sa may Quirino Highway (near Avida Towers Astrea) and Regalado Avenue (near AMA College Fairview). May mga red (circle) marks na nilagay sa Regalado Avenue na may numbers.

Am I correct to assume that ajosh821 and robinciano will be our main source of onsite news and photos for MRT7 the same way loveisthekey93 and PasigGuy are our main source of onsite news and photos for LRT2 East Extension?

For me, it's yes . Take note na daily kong dinadaan yung mga roads na tatamaan ng MRT 7 (from our subdivision which is located along Quirino Highway hanggang sa pinapasukan kong school along Commonwealth Avenue).

Yes, for soil testing yan. Yung mga markings na nilagay nila sa gitna ng kalsada (Regalado Ave), same din yan sa may Quirino Highway. And yet, for soil testing purposes yung mga markings na iyan. Sa tingin ko, for the days to come aabot na rin sa Commonwealth Avenue yung soil testing works.

of course i will! im from Commonwealth and i go to North Caloocan most of the time kaya nakikita ko ang mga activities nila. May mga nag mamarking din sa may Commonwealth Fairview Area, they are using this equipment na parang telescope, d ko alam anong tawag don. Madali lang sila makilala kasi they have the EEI CORPORATION logo in their service car.

And also coordination with the LGU's (Caloocan and Quezon City) especially the traffic management. So far, nararanasan namin ang matinding traffic sa may Quirino Highway particularly sa may Lagro (Ascencion Avenue Intersection), Regalado Highway (AMA-STI Corridor), and Commonwealth Avenue (Atherton Intersection; Fairlane & FCM Intersection). This occurs every rush hour.
