GREAT NEWS! this is probably my second fav proposal (behind icon of course) and i rekon it would seriously do wonders for that part of the city. it would be close to barracks square too. that area could be very classy in a few years!

Will this project include redevelopment of that old blue painted part of Cinema City on Barrack St?

Hey Guys...has work begun on this????I went past quickly yesterday and it seem to be partly covered like some type of work going on!??Anyone got any info on this?

@Nzer..If it's the building I think u are talking about is on the corner of Barrack and Murray...Its a separate building, not part of Cinema City.

Hopefully they'll put out a better rendering of this tower, like Barrack Plaza. The current one looks like someone drew some lines along a square then coloured in the lines.

It wasn't as much as in scaffolding...from what I can remember from that brief moment, it was more like ply wood sealing off part of the building along Barrack st. I really didn't get a good look.

I also like the rendering, Barrack Plaza has to much concrete.

i just got back from a fast drive around the city
the ANZ building on the crn of barrack and murray street is blocked of by a metal fence. its the only shop with this. not sure if this is a seperate small re-furbishment, or they are slowly closing down all the shops for the redevelopment. one of the other shops was closed aswell but no fenced off. i guess we will have to wait and see
