yeah from wishaw you need a pretty good zoom, my camera isn't brilliant when zooming in that far. I hope people can get up there too. Just off bulls lane is the best, then running down wishaw lane

Yep 9th floor. Atrium is dark slate. Lift floors are nice and light but to be honest you could be in any half decent office block.

No disrespect to any of the posters here .... but it is long, long time since we have had any really decent skyline pictures of Birmingham in this thread .... Of the 1 million+ inhabitants in Birmingham, surely someone must have a decent skyline image to post??!

The problem I find is that we have few vantage points available for shitty digicams.

Either that or view is obscured.

I'll try and sneak out of work up Turners Hill and see what I can get.

It's difficult when most locations have been snapped up...but that view walsh is a new one..might get myself down there in the next few days.

Smiley will pop up one day again and excite us with a new set of skyline photos.

A walk through brindley place tonight, i noticed that alot of the cranes in the city now have their company logo lit up on the cranes! I havent noticed this before in birmingham, but mostly in asian cities like singapore. I love the extra efforts the city is starting to go to for lighting. I then noticed them going across spaghetti junction but obviously alot harder to pick out from there whilst driving

It's just advertising really, it's not really any effort for additional illumination for the city....

Yeh I get that it just advertising their company, but it still giving a more illuminated vibrant feel like many of the new advertising boards going up. I like it. I think there's a serious lack of advertising down the Aston expressway with so much room for it on that plain gateway to the city

It was by no means a dig .... after looking at the plethora of quality Liverpool images, someone must have a decent camera in the Second City?
