I知 not sure who that nimby comment is directed at, but I never said I was against. I just said it was funny - not in terms comedic funny, just surprising. I知 all for these towers, and I think it値l be a great precinct

I think it was (jokingly? I think?) aimed at me for my 'pls don't ruin my view' comment.

I'm worried about all the accidents caused by the distracting awesomeness happening just off the freeway..

This is not a joke and your not a nimby. What tower are you living in? I am not a stalker, i am just curious that you will probably have a loss of sunlight, which is better than a loss of view. Then again you could always save on energy costs, no need to run the aircon when the new tower can just naturally shade your balcony.

It was clear as mud that Urbania was also joking!

I meant the view from my office, not my home! I try not to live in the office if I can help it.

you can't win. However that's probably part of the game in life.

Aim high. Career that is. I don't know what you do nor do I need to know, but perhaps you are a pleb.... but one day if you work hard you will become a senior manager. You will get an office in a great firm that occupies floorspace in the tallest of towers. You will have a view to die for. 😂

I thought you had a view of the river. Never mind. All good. I should have realised you meant the office from your very first post.

I agree - imagine their new tower being twice the height!!! I find it strange that you have just moved into a new tower and having to acquire additional new office space. While its probably a sign for them that work is up it makes me wonder what are their Project Management/ Strategic Management/ Business Modelling/ future planning etc doing or is just so adhoc/all over the place that its too difficult to predict whether there's going to be enough work or not??

holy shit crane base!

I know nothing, but I'm going to guess that the resi tower remains largely the same while the middle tower becomes an office building of 20-30 floors.

Ok, can someone please explain - if they do make such changes, it means that they would need a new DA right? Or an amendment right?

The reason i ask, is because I know this site has reach 都ignificant completion so the current da will never expire - but I just wonder if the process is different if they want to change something with the next buildings

A new DA was lodged this week. The old DA will not expire until the new DA is substantially commenced.
