Taken with my phone, and was a few weeks ago, but here's 3 Snowhill from Hagley Road. Going to make a fair old impact to the skyline from here:

This is going to be a heck of a building!!

Second core looks like it's about to be topped off, with the third core creeping up steadily behind

The scale of this is incredible. Saw it over the weekend (when I was collecting an item I've just had made in the Jewellery Quarter). Got a photo to add later...Taken from Moseley!

It's amazing, the amount a views you can see these cores, I don't think we'll really get a sense of the size of this until we get some steel work flying up, I for one can't wait For people coming into Birmingham from the M6, it's really going to make a statement

My uneducated guess would be that it would be a matter of weeks at the latest, maybe a lot sooner based on the progress on that last core. Then it's a circa 40 week op to get the steelwork up.

Can see both cranes now from 9 miles away, just eagerly awaiting the next step.

Metro's second photo could almost be New York. With these huge cores and Bagot Street beginning to rise above St Chad's, it demonstrates the densification we're beginning to see all over the city centre.

It's almost like a proper city!
