Good point!

And another couple imminent. It is difficult because there must be so many apartment blocks about to start.

Park Central skews the figures because normally that would have a few tower cranes, but they opted for mobile ones because of the time period...

yeah know what you mean about park central, if you go to the new park there are 10 new apartment blocks which have all gone up in the last year, if they had have used cranes the count would have been nearer manchester's and dont forget all the conversiosn and refurbishments that are going on and dont need cranes

yes this is true, seems to be that they have finished the major work and now its starting to wind down. Are you a Sutton local Erebus?

I live on the boundary of Erdignton and Sutton but I spend most of my time going into Sutton rather than Birmingham.

Park Central was on the news yesterday morning and it looked like they were building a thin frame. I thought nothing of it.

ah maybe the crane i saw was at brindley house ? anyway you can def add a new one to the list, not sure where though, by st pauls somewhere so either thomas walker or brindleyhouse

Yep, near Streetly and taken from the top of Barr Beacon. That was quick! It does seem a little big for the development, which is just a small new estate!

It's the squillions of trees and biggish houses that made me wonder which could only be Sutton Park or your local Warley Woods.

I think it might be the Costain job at the top of St Paul's. There are 2 cranes there
