Have just gone past the site. It's completely cleared and flattened. However all the diggers and everything else is gone as well..empty.. Back to our favourite activity, waiting and seeing what happens next..

Equally we don't know if they will be demolishing the rest of the buildings next month, should the lease finish so it is a guessing game.
Ok thanks appreciate the explanation there.

Do we know when the lease finishes?

Wouldn't the semi-circular end of Moor Street Car Park make great Apartments? Lovely view of Selfridges hub-caps and St Martins.

More chance of that than a Beorma Tower?

Then again you sound like a stuck ticket machine, you say the same thing everytime we discuss Beorma Quarter Phase 2

Something is happening, i can feel it in my bones.

If we stay positive, something will happen.

I thought an archeological survey was due prior to the development - maybe itís to do with that?

A pic would be cool - then someone might be able to determine what itís for.

I wanted to take one, but in the morning on my way to town it just happen so quickly that by the time I'd have got my phone i'd miss it, and on my way back home I was on Diamond bus and so wasn't high enough. I don't think it was a digger, it looked more like some sort of a lifting thing/platform, hope you're keeping up with my technical language

Think the site is flat now, so nothing on site from what I could see from the bus.

Go up to the roof floor of Moor Street Car Park and look down.

Bus windows would have been two wet to get anything of it today!

Do you not need a planning application for a surface level car park? Surely you can't just go creating car parks without approval from the highways authority. If there is no such application approved or pending then hopefully that means an assumprion the activity is construction related.

Calm down folks calm down, a small cherry picker was on site with a couple of workers making repairs to the Blue plastic weatherproof sheeting, although what remains a mystery is why they haven't taken down the advertising hoarding.
