This was the original plan called line 4 or line 9. Ngayon, nahati siya called MRT 7 na. Yung sinasabi mong route is now called line 8 or East West Line. Under na siya ng unsolicited proposal via PNR waiting for NEDA approval.

Yeah, those were the days. Too bad ngayon lang naging mayor si Isko. Had Isko been mayor instead of Atienza, MRT7s end point wouldn't be by North Avenue but instead go to Quezon Avenue to Espana and it would even be the country's first subway. I hope they get moving on the East West Rail soon habang nandyan si Isko!

Kaya siguro mataas ang MRT7 north ave station, puedeng itong extend over LRT1/MRT3 track sa EDSA toward West Ave then Quezon Ave.

I even use LRT 2 to go to Fairview and ride a jeep instead to bypass hellish traffic along Espaņa and Delta in Quezon Avenue. Minsan umaabot ng 2 and a half hours Lerma to QMC. I’d rather agree to have it extended than to make another line which is Line 8 kasi baka tumagal na naman nang tumagal. Tsaka para seamless na rin.

If ever, tatawid pala sa West Ave ang MRT-7. Magiging next Regalado Highway in the future na pala 'to.

Re: Line 7 to Manila

I think the most sensible idea is a new line.. (perhaps make the Airport loop to pass Quezon Ave to Espaņa...) Ex. From NMIA going to North Exchange in Ciudad de Victoria then pass NLEX to Balintawak then to UGCS then Agham Rd to Quezon Ave straight to Espaņa then go to Tutuban then go to North Harbor then pass Malabon/Navotas back to NMIA.. As for Line 7.. I think the best extension is making it a loop line with Line 11..

The planned PNR East-West Line will handle that.

Pumayag na ba mga Padre ng Espaņa?

Yorme should really push for this.

The proposed PNR East-West has yet to be approved by the President. AFAIK the Dominican priests are against the proposed flyover along Lacson Ave.

Case in point LRT1 and MRT3. Yang LRT1 pwede pang i-extend all the way to Marilao, Bulacan instead na nag-turn pa-North Ave. Dapat MRT3 yung LRT1 extension, tapos na-i-extend pa yan hanggang Malabon or Navotas. And of course the south extension all the way to MoA or even PITX.

Tapos di pa compatible tracks nila so maski loop di pwede.

Hi Guys.

When is the target completion of MRT7? I read somewhere that they will also simultaneously complete the 6 lane tollroad from SJDM to bocaue exit. Pero hindi pa nila nauumpisahan ito right?

According to an interview with Ramon Ang on DZMM's Failon Ngayon:

They are targeting completion and operation end of 2022 and is requesting the government if they can extend the line further north to have it connected to the new Airport in Bulacan. RSA is expecting low ridership for line 7 so to maximize it, he thinks they should extend it further north.

Operations can begin 6 months earlier to mid 2022 if they get ROW issues settled now. The depot is now eyed to be at an MWSS property near the watershed or A supposed development by a conglomerate in the same area.

(Offhand, I think it's somewhere near the NOVA project by Century which kinda explains why there isn't any activity near Dela Costa / Amparo Area because they have to re engineer this section if it were a depot)

Sana North and South sya i-extend. Either pa Cubao or Recto. But I think Recto/Lerma extension will provide more ridership. Or why not both? Sana lang hangga't maaga pa.

Woah, hanggang end of 2022 na pala completion nito? So under construction siya all throughout the PRRD admin.

Pero puzzled pa ako kung paano nila i-eextend from SJDM to NMIA yung MRT-7.
