Ottimo, grazie mille Th€@n! Quello che manca a questa discussione sono proprio le foto

A question to Ovale: I don't understand what you mean with "1024 little domes": what are these "domes"?

Von Lonter,

In italian it should be "cupole" ... .
I wanted to add some pictures; but appearantly I'm banned from adding attachments ... .
I checked the FAQ; but the "Mannage Attachments" button is missing in my browser ... I can only find "You may post new threads" "You may post replies" "You may not post attachments" "You may edit your posts".
If you send me a private message with your e-mail address, I'll send them to you.

Best regards

In fact, I don't know what you mean with "cupole", sorry.

To upload my photos I go there: http://************ (this site is recommended by Skyscrapercity Italia).

Thank you very much!

Well... It wasn't so easy to understand what these cupole-domes were!

Indeed; even if we do speak several different languages; we'll always encounter this type of difficulties ... .

Hereunder some more actual pictures from today; including two from the for the public "hidden side".

Thanks! I saw it yesterday, more and more intresting.
But I don't understand if "domes" are windows or simple aesthetic elements.

They are real windows.
Diameter 400 mm.
We have 1024 of them.
After the insulation and waterproofing; they will be less pronounced in the overall view.

As I thought; now I can give you a good translation for your domes: I think "oblò" (porthole) would be perfect

Foto di domenica scorsa, fa un po' schifo perché l'ho fatta dall'auto in movimento:

Tutti gli oblò sono al loro posto!
All the domes are at their place.

Are the workers on holiday?

Well here's a short update on the planning:
* All main projected concrete works are finished.
* The last traditional concrete works will be carried out during the following week.
* Once all concrete has hardened; we can put tension on the cables and remove the wooden structure from the inside.
* Insulation works will start next week and will finish around half december.
* The actual UV coating will be RAL 7040; but since we think this might be to bright; we think about putting on an additional darker coating (towards RAL7016).

Here are some pictures from the past period and today's view from my eye in the sky. :-)

Thank you very much Ovale.

It's a pity for the wooden structure: it looked perfect from your photos; I could build a wooden-Ovale in my garden with it

Yeah right!
Feel free to contact Muttoni SA to take some home!

And from the value (the structure will be chipped now) one should be able to build a nice full size and lakeside villa in Lugano!

Here are today's pictures!

Come procede l'uovo? Non si sa più nulla?

Ovale? Can you tell us something?
