#Kloof Street Village - 5F - Mixed Use - Gardens | Under Construction

The old 'Rheede Street Mall' (AAA Furnishers was on the corner for decades) is being extended and refurbed and looks like it will be super cool, will be a massive improvement and further add to the appeal of Kloof Street

Bootlegger and a restaurant called 'Cowboys & Cooks' seem to be signed up, will create a nice vibe

Will those 1st floor balcony areas shown in the renders be for restaurant/bar use or will they be allocated to residential units? I'm assuming the former in which case those photos from Oct 30th really show just how nice and spacious they are going to be. A great addition to the Kloof Street scene by the look of it.

lekker ! - what I like is that its a revival of a tired building and it's not dominant of its neighbours

Yup!, and it will have a very active street edge and be a '24 hour' building, will compliment the Canopy by Hilton and enhance the nodes reputation as a primary destination of being a 'third place' not only for locals but also tourists

Nice detailing at grade and very strong interface between building and street
