They're giving the black steel cladding some type of "polish", which is breathing life back into it and gives it a look of newness

I notice what looks to be white cladding at the bottom of the tower in that photo. A trick of the eye, or does anyone know what's up with that?

It's just a piece of missing steel cladding and glass that’s boarded up, I guess until they replace it.
