Sounds like a good idea.

There is a south bank thread already so maybe the posts in that thread discussing the ports and north/south bank link up could be moved.

Bushybadger. I think the ports should be just another to come under the 'Hull and Humber-(add subject)' threads. For developments in Grimsby and Scunthorpe i think they deserve their own threads and it would be nice to attract people from the south bank to contribute to the forum.

I agree - those ports are immensely busy.

Amendments made as requested.

Please confirm which posts (if any) are needed to be moved from the South Bank thread . . . ?

No annoyance mate, that's what I'm here for!! (amongst other things . .)

I have already amended the title actually, as I had spotted what had happened.

I have also added the project - hull & humber TAG to the thread, which enables you to pull up a screen of ALL of our 'Project Threads' if you want to.

On the project itself, do you have any more information on this project, as the first post is quite sparse?

Is there anything on (say) the 'Full Summary' thread, that could now be transferred over?

Is the above how other people see it?

Are there any other suffixes we use or should be using?
Do you think this would be a good thing to have on the first post of this page. Although it has been posted twice now on this thread its the first time I have noticed it and would find it very useful if creating a new thread.

The thread is on page 575-576

https://www.skyscrapercity.com/showth...08009&page=575

Posts:
11481 -11491
11493 - 11501

The above posts all talk about the new student building but a couple have been re-posted already. I will leave it in yout capable hands to decide what posts need to be moved if any.

Post 11495 looks an important one with links to official council documents.

Thanks B B, I have transferred all of them (there were only 19) as they form a discrete conversation covering from the first discovery of the project, to the current state of play.

AS LackOfColour made the first post about this project, HE is now shown as the thread originator, as posts transfer in their original datal order.

Cheers!

A good idea!

I have completely re-written the opening post to this "Forum Admin" thread, and have included within it another copy of the above mentioned list of Project Thread Title Suffixes.

SEE 'Post 1'.

You are welcome!

But please (all) remember, that useful information is published periodically throughout this thread, it has been in the past and it will continue to be so, so don't just restrict your reading to the first and/or 'the most recent' post

.
Hi All,

I have been thinking for a while, that we could make a little bit better use of the 'communal area' on the main North East England Forum page.

To that end, I have put my thoughts here . . .

https://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1246743

As you can see, one thread (above) is started already, and Talisker has said he is considering starting another one.

Just an idea, interested to know what you all think?

NH.
