Hilton Leeds

Whilst seeing the design for a new hotel in Leeds and thinking of it as rather dull when in comparison to hotels such as the Hilton Beetham Tower in Manchester, I had a go at sketching a fantasy design of my own.

Any feedback?

Looks definitely nice. Is the base in a different angle than the top? Also, the geometry looks complex, but nice to watch a construction

It looks good, but it wouldn't be much good as a hotel. The 2 sections never touch, so what do you do if you want to get from the top of one floor to the top of the other? it could still work though, good job

Thanks yeah the building twists from the bottom to the top and the top of the building is also slanted diagonally

Cheers Never thought about that! Maybe one building could be the hotel and the other either offices or potentially apartments? Very much a fantasy idea though anyway!

Well, I thought it could work if there was a point at which they joined at the bottom (Could be underground), and all the facilities could be there, with just rooms in the tower where they split. All the guests just go down to use the facilities and no-one except the cleaners would need to travel between towers.

Re-drew the image and edited it to a high standard in Photoshop

Attractive, but needs more life. Personal opinion.
