Is the taller 13 story behind it part of Radisson? can't tell if it's a separate building or same

That's Wells Fargo's office tower.

I like the design too. It's a bit monolithic being a full block rectangle. But I'm happy they didn't try breaking it up with tons of different colors and materials. The red colored entrance gives it some nice "pop".

I think red awnings would be a nice touch too. Needs more red (color) but I do like the over all black.

I like it , but I am agreement with everyone just a bit more of that bright red (to contrast with the black) would make it look even better.

It's just a black box? Looks like a spruced up dorm from Soviet-era Kiev.

I guess I'm repeating myself, but my thought is if they somehow used more of that bright red (very sparingly) as an accent with the black it would look awesome.

I think the red focused at the doorway is a great branding strategy! When you first arrive at the hotel you are reminded of the Red status (as opposed to the blue level) and you will be able to better identify the level of amenities from that alone.

I don't think the building needs to scream Red for people to understand the marketing of the hotel, yet the doorway predominantly red is all it needs. Keep in mind once people recognize the brand of the hotel they still want the comforts of home not to be reminded constantly of the colors of the brand. IMO. Though I see your point, imagine if Walgreens incorporated more green into the designs and logos of the stores they sure would stand out from CVS idk about everyone else but when I used to drive in the suburbs I always couldn't distinguish Walgreens with CVS and Holiday gas stations, with Super America. (though I think Holiday stores are undergoing a bit of a facelift since then) Still annoys me thinking about it haha.

Keep in mind the Red status is a branding level for the hotel NOT a requirement of how they should design the colors of the actual building or decide the color of the rooms themselves.

No , If you read my comment correctly, I said use some more red very sparingly. The use of the black as the predominant color looks great. However, it needs a little more contrast which would actually make the black even more intense and visually interesting.

Ah, haven't seen that angle of the Wells Fargo.

Yeah I agree, I think it looks nice. Compliments the the Wells Fargo. Wish that was going above the parking ramp still! Maybe there will be another hotel there someday.

A little red trim around the windows could look nice. Something like Brunsfield North Loop. Red awnings as mplsuptown suggested wouldn't be bad either. Still looks great as is. And remember the retail tenants will give the exterior some detail as well with there eventual signage too.

Yes, The Brunsfield is actually what I was thinking about! The street level of this project is very good and I agree it will liven up with signage etc.

If I'm not mistaken it read you'd want to increase the amount of red. The entire doorway is overwhelmingly red. Any additional red would only enhance the entryway in my opinion, making it screamingly red. Perhaps if the doorway was less predominantly red then that might work as you suggest.

That's just my opinion, I won't expand on it anymore outside of PM.

Feng Shui red front door is thought to bring good fortune. However, http://fengshui.about.com/od/faq/f/fengshuidoor.htm

For some reason I thought this was going on the northern block of this project, not behind the Wells Fargo building closest to the stadium, which this pic clearly shows.
