I've started to like the podium a little less as it doesn't seem to link seamlessly to the tower but the rest of the building is absolutely fabulous.

The podium's not done yet. Once the veil is on, it'll look fab

It is a stunner. Can’t help thinking it would have looked better if the sleek tower form extended all the way down without that square bit tacked onto the side though.

I personally think the hotel section needs to be there to visually balance out the tower form. The axis of the twist actually veers slightly towards the north at the middle of the tower's elevation, so without the hotel and the podium jutting out to the south it might look like a sort of lean towards the north.

Of course, my eyes might be biased just because the hotel portion has been there from the beginning. It certainly could have been better off a lot curvier though!

the square bit or first 30 floors is the hotel section, built to enforce the full fsr. the rooms get views towards opera house bridge ect the next 2 floors are casino then 40 levels of apartments
the 5storey podium has 2 gaming floors and restaurants ect.
lev66 has small observation deck which will be 250m high.

Sorry, I might have confused you. The hotel bit of 30 floors is fab. It's that five level podium which looks slightly off, but as you say, its probably got some more bits to add to it and frankly, I'm being picky. This is an outstanding development.

Will the core reduce in bulk/ lift shafts? At the rate it is tapering there will soon be nothing but core. Looking very good!
