the richest cricket board should invest in Digital display modules around the stadium like Aussie and eng stadiums. not just on the ground.

Yes, those cardboard advertisements spoils the aesthetics of stadium.....BCCI only cares about money from sponsorship they don't care about aesthetics...Thank god new Motera stadium has only two tiers so we will have to tolerate just one circle of cardboard advertisement

Tweet to Dada and complain about the 3rd world Aesthetics on certain stadiums and this idea. I am sure he will accept it.

I think the what the barabati stadium needs is permanent bucket seats and a roof and they get to rid of that garland type decorations they do on the vip areas and pavilion as in opinion it looks crap on television.

Cuttack is such an awkward-looking venue. The clock tower is unique, but the stands are oddly shaped and sized, there is a floodlight poking through the stands, and the fences are illogically tall.

No amount of sporting facilities will do any good if the air quality in the NCR continues to remain this bad.

Sporting facilities with bad air is better than no facilities with bad air. However, it is imperative for all governments(states and centre) to ensure breathable air throughout the year.

Uh what?

Who taught you this? "Sporting facilities with bad air is better than no facilities with bad air"?

I would rather not play at all even in sporting facilities in polluted regions. First of all people spend hard work to remain fit and are on nutrition diet and controlled diet to take care of their health. Then to say, you should play in NCR whether the weather is bad or not, is an irony to their fitness regime.

We are much more interested in building new stadiums than in maintaining them. The last night fiasco in Guwahati is a prime example of that.

Yeah it is stupid. Rather than building newer stadium that are grand expense, rather build sporting facilities within schools itself so kids get the quality training that they need at a bright age where learning is much quicker.

Looking at the ground in NZ in India's first T20I, it looks so clean, organized, well maintained. Even with all the money it has, BCCI cannot make the field that looks aesthetically pleasing. These days I see the grass on the ground patched up but it is not consistent across the ground.

Plus the difference in the color of the grass is not that significant. So it's like when things are new they look good but as you go start using them they start becoming less maintained from aesthetic standpoint and just get it ready for the game kind of attention is given to them?

When the Nagpur stadium was unveiled it looked nice. The Ranchi stadium is pretty new and looks like crap.

So hopefully Motera is preserved and well maintained and well looked after in a long run.
