Loving the sunday night bonanza Stig.

This is going to be a cracking building IMO, so glad they saved it. And what a location to have an apartment.

There's a sales office next to South bank Bar laid out as an apartment. It looks really smart. I think it was where the Italian restaurant once was.
I'm also glad they kept this building. Its not offensive at all, just needed a bit of tlc.

Temporary coverings / scaffold starting to come down (apologies for the quality - was rather foggy at the time, couldn't see the City Ground from the suspension bridge!)

Reminds me of the KPLAN Building. The white paint had a bit more character to it...

Looking a real let down. Thought we'd moved on a bit from this. Real shame given its landmark location..

Thanks for all the updates Stig..

Jesus, what's that white column with the offensively small windows all about? Please tell me that's not the actual finish....

Fire escape/stairwell at a guess. I think that was part of the original building. Its just been given a coat of paint.
Have to say, I'm also disappointed with the quality of it so far. Considering how much the apartments will cost, I would have expected a higher quality finish.

They were indeed - the solid colour does make it look worse than before

It really looks like a cheep student block with Grenfeld style cladding doesn't it?

Oh dear oh dear. It would appear that the cladding has potentially made this building look worse than it was before.
