I like the Grant Memorial Bridge but the proposed Lincoln Memorial looks like something from the Soviet Union.

Cool bridge, but I feel like it is totally out of context for the US capitol. Like its super Victorian vs. the Palladian norm of the capitol.

While the 1889 Proposed New York World building by H.H.Richardson would have fit New York like a glove, that building would have fit any city like a fruit salad.

Looks a bit like the original "Nibelungenbrücke" in Worms.


Unfortunately it was destroyed during war and there is only one of the two towers left.
