Looks decent to me. It's a completely stagnant patch of Nottingham and it's getting a huge amount of attention at the moment, it seems. If only they'd put the new bus station at Unity Square we'd be laughing.

Agreed, it looks decent. The city is expanding southward at an incredible rate - I reckon this type of inner-city density will reach the Trent in the next 10 years. And by that I mean continuous density; the current developments such as Trent Basin are fairly dense already, but too disconnected from the city proper.

Keep'em coming.

Good to see development in that area. Obviously benefits from the new tram lines.

Externally looks great from these low key images...however that interior shot is horrible...imagine if your living room looked like that!

Isn't that supposed to be one of the communal "networking" spaces?

Would make a great bar with a view like that.

Interesting that in the render they've used there are no trees surrounding the castle. This isn't the case in reality, but gives you an idea of what a properly displayed castle could look like.

Pretty substantial build for a run down area, extends the city centre and helps with the regeneration of the wider southside.

Looking at Stig's development I'm hoping this will be a catalyst for several other nearby proposals too!

What’s the big grey box at the back on the previous renders? Is that already there?

Ben77; That is the massing for the longtime stalled Sentinel building - they have shown it as precedent for the height already approved in the vicinity.

It's been deferred as some feel the tower is too tall/bulky/ugly and will disrupt views of the castle. A final decision will be made over the next few months after further tweaks to the design.
