Big city feel about Islington starting to develop after decades of neglect.
With this, Calico, Fabric Residence and Fabric Quarter that side of it will be unrecognizable.
Now the task is to get the other side developed and hide that redbrick housing estate.

I know
Sad state of affairs when somebody can class a grass verge as Parkland
But I'm sure he will try.

Overdue, but worth the wait -

I like this -

I'm a little less keen on the black sections with orange highlights, but taken as a whole, I think it's good -

Very quirky, but I like it for some strange reason:

It might be months overdue, and there is still work to do, but this is good -

Just the kind of scale that was needed here -

that last pic has just reminded me Chris, I noticed the other night that the slim plot of land on the opposite side of moss Street to this development had been cleared of its overgrown budleia. I'm not referring to the corner surface car park but the slim site next to the apartments which IIRC had something planned for around 8 storeys. Anyone heard of anything about to start here? (apologies for going completely off thread)

I noticed that myself the other week. One to keep an eye on I think.

Two finish dates have come and gone, and it's still not ready, but it is still progressing -

Note the new glazing under the overhang section. I also like that timber-constructed Portakabin -

It does look good though, even if it is late -

The cladding missing from this section however for some reason:

Judging by the position of the scissor lift I'd say it's being used as a loading area to the upper floors.

its a unique Liverpool design feature - most of our new buildings have it - unfortunately most of them are supposed to be complete
