Some more material from Ziarul unirea:
- A10, Sebes - Turda, Lot 1, northern end, the future Alba Iulia Nord interchange:
Just a day before the filming, the minister resp. some of his affiliates claimed again that this section would open 2019...
And that the builder had around 200 machines in operation (truth be told, they might all be hiding in other sections, but if they are needed more than here, well, then the first statement is already falsified by that...)
- Lot 2, around the Teius area:

UPDATE Dăncilă: If he does not meet the term goal, then the minister has a problem
"When the Minister of Transport has publicly stated this, he must respect the deadlines. If we asked that the deadlines be respected by the builders, by those involved, of course, that the minister also has this obligation. The minister must make a roadmap and come up with the long-term goal. If not meeting the deadline and promised this, then the gentleman has a problem, "he said Dăncilă according News.ro .
"The first and most important thing is the Southern Highway. We are at an advanced stage, out of the 195 kilometers, as long as the Southern Highway will have, 70 will cross Teleorman County," said Răzvan Cuc on Sunday.
He specified that the highway will be built in a public-private partnership and hopes that in September the tender procedures for the award of construction works will begin.
"The foundation study was auctioned, will be completed at the end of July, in August we will enter the government decision, and in September we will remove the award for the company that will come to build," said the Minister of Transport.
The South A6 motorway is an older project originally proposed since 2004 on the Bucharest - Alexandria - Craiova - Calafat route, extending to Drobeta Turnu Severin - Lugoj (for the junction with the A1 Highway on the Lugoj - Timişoara - Arad - Nadlac route). The first 11 kilometers connecting the A1 (Balint) and the Lugoj belt were opened in December 2013.
The A6 motorway route
Sector 01 - km 0 + 000 - km 66 + 000, Bucharest - AlexandriaAt km 0 + 000, the first road node is made, with ring 2 of the Bucharest Belt, a ring that will be made in the highway profile. The highway route, in this sector, goes almost parallel to DN6, on its left side, in the South-West direction, bypassing the localities Mihăilești and Gorneni. At km 13 + 200 of the highway, respectively 29 + 500 of DN6, a road junction with DN6 is arranged, on its right side, bypassing the localities of Ghimpați, Naipu, Bujoreni, Drăgănești-Vlașca, Comora and Măgura. At km approximately 23 + 000 of the highway (in law with approx. Km 39 + 700 of DN6), the route intersects DN61 (km 4 + 000), near the village of Letca Nouă. At km 66 + 000, the route of the highway reaches Alexandria, a locality that will connect to the highway, via a road junction.
Sector 02 - km 66 + 000 - 94 + 800, Alexandria - Roșiori de Vede - After the town of Alexandria, the highway route changes its direction of development towards the west, going parallel with DN6, on its right side, bypassing the localities Buzescu, Plosca and Peretu . At km 88 + 200, the highway route intersects the Roşiori de Vede - Alexandria Railway Line. At km 90 + 000 of the highway, the route of the highway passes from the right side of DN 6 to the left side of it, intersecting DN6 (km 116 + 500), near the town of Roşiori de Vede. Between km 91 + 500 - km 92 + 000 the route intersects DN 65A and the Roşiori de Vede Railroad - Turnu Măgurele.
Sector 03 - Km 94 + 800 - km 146 + 300, Roșiori de Vede - Caracal - From Roșiori de Vede, the highway route maintains its development direction to the west. At km 95 + 300 the highway route crosses the county road DJ 612A. At km 103 + 100 the route of the highway intersects the Railroad Roşiori de Vede - Caracal. At km 104 + 300 the highway route intersects DN 6 and continues its route almost parallel to national road 6, on its right side. At km 129 + 300, km 132 + 700 and km 145 + 200 the highway route intersects the Red Road of Roses de Vede - Caracal. At km 146 + 300 the highway route crosses DN64. Caracal locality will be bypassed by the north.
Sector 04 - km 146 + 300 - km 311 + 100, Caracal - Drobeta Turnu Severin - From Caracal locality, the motorway route changes its direction to West - North-West, mainly following, in parallel, the national road 6. At km 147 + 400 the route of the highway intersects the Railroad Roşiori de Vede - Caracal. Between km 147 + 400 and km 178 + 700 the highway route runs between DN6 and the Caracal - Craiova Railway Line. At km 178 + 700 the highway route intersects the Caracal - Craiova Railway Line.
After the intersection with the Railroad from km 178 + 700 the highway route runs through the north side the town of Cosoveni and then reoriented as a development towards the west, first crossing the Craiova bypass variant and then DN 6. The intersection with the Bypass variant of Craiova it is made at km 186 + 400 and the intersection with DN 6 at km 186 + 800, respectively km 216 + 500 of DN6.
After the intersection with DN6 The highway develops its route on the north side of Craiova Municipality, parallel to the existing Belt of the municipality on the right side opposite the city, crossing twice electrified railway lines and three national roads DN 65, DN65 C and DN 6B.
In the area of Craiova Municipality it is followed that based on the field studies, the route will be detailed, especially given the fact that DE Pitesti - Craiova is in implementation. From km 206 + 200 the route of the highway develops in parallel with DN 6 and Craiova - Drobeta-Turnu-Severin Railroad until km 240 + 700. At km 237 + 700 and km 240 + 600 the highway route crosses the Filiaşi Railroad - Tg Jiu.
At 240 + 700 km the highway route intersects DN6. From km 240 + 700 to km 302 + 700, the highway route preserves the vicinity of DN 6, passing from one side to the other. Between km 302 + 700 and km 311 + 100 the route of the highway develops to the North bypassing on the east side the city of Drobeta-Turnu-Severin.
At km 311 + 100 the highway route crosses DN67.
Another priority project for the county mentioned by Răzvan Cuc is the bridge over the Danube, from Zimnicea to Sivistov, Bulgaria.
'Another very important project to be undertaken is the bridge over the Danube, Zimnicea-Svistov. The Romanian side very urgent this objective (...), I spoke with the Minister of Transport of Bulgaria, they gave us some general points, today I presented to the Prime Minister the agreement that will be made between the Government of Romania and The Bulgarian Government for the implementation of this bridge, said Cuc.
The Minister of Transport added that the development of the adjacent infrastructure, such as the bypass of the city of Zimnicea, is needed, as well as the rehabilitation of two national roads, DN51 and DN52, which will be started shortly.
Minister Răzvan Cuc was present on Sunday, in Alexandria, at the Extraordinary Election Conference of the Teleorman County Organization of the Social Democratic Party

If the bridge at Zimnicea/Svishtov is built, then the initial idea for the other bridges to the west of it becomes outdated. Much more interesting in such a case are the locations at Corabia/Zagrazhden (combined rail-road bridge) and at Kozloduy/Macesu (road bridge only) with a new road on the west of river Jiu. Anyhow the exisitng road from Craiova to Bechet passes through many villages and won't be suitable for the trucks. The latter will also serve the connection between Craiova and Sofia through the potential Petrohan tunnel south of Montana (also with a new transit road from Montana to the bridge at Kozloduy). Although it is still early, think about this scenario in Romania.
