Le'Mac: Skyscraper Sophistication Coming to Nairobi
Property Investor Africa
December 2013
Quote:
Le’mac is an upcoming building by Mark Properties set to change Nairobi’s skyline forever.

Set in the heart of Westlands just off Waiyaki Way, Le’mac brings a fresh glimpse of Nairobi’s future, offering an unsurpassed mix of homes, offices and recreational spaces.

All the needs of the business community will be met on-site with the office users having access to the Le’mac lounge café, meeting rooms, restaurants, and gymnasium and spa facility. Le’mac is designed to suit a variety of needs and will be entranced through a great entrance lobby on the ground floor that will make a quality first impression for businesses.

Westlands is home to many serviced apartment blocks and now Le’mac will offer those looking for a great experience living in Nairobi something to look forward to. The residences of Le’mac will be a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments adorned with excellently coordinated finishes and panoramic views. The apartments boast open-plan spaces that are designed to optimise functionality while exuding a luxurious feel.

For those looking for an investment vehicle, you can’t go wrong with Le’Mac. This building has all the trappings of a project geared by substantial capital gains. Its absolute prime location within bustling Westlands, Nairobi’s second biggest commercial hub, lends itself already to price stability and substantial price escalation over the years.

What intensifies the prospects of this even more is the present lack of supply of apartments that offer a true mix of commercial and residential functions embodied in luxury, the latest technology and provide a spectacular array of innovative amenities within this sought-after area – your investment at Le’Mac can only grow.

According to Ravi Vasta, director at Mark Properties, any investor can expect great rent returns at Le’Mac. Nairobi has fast become the commercial hub of East Africa – hosting the region’s headquarters of some of the world’s biggest multinational commercial and non-profit organisations. This has drawn in a substantial demand for housing that meets international standards and in the case of Le’mac, surpasses it.

Few developments in Nairobi meet these needs leaving a gap in supply and a chance for investors to profit from the provision of its accommodation. “We estimate that Le’mac will achieve 30% more rental income than an ordinary serviced apartment of the same size in the same area,” said Vasta.

The pace is very discouraging but its moving along.
Last I heard they were projecting to be on ground level end of this quarter.

The developer is supposed to release the construction update next month. It is supposed to be at ground level by end of April.
