Wow, that are some great proposals. I want to see more of all of them to actually pick a personal favorite, but it will be difficult. It will be great for New York anyway!

This may be the largest skyscraper project here yet.

No matter which plan gets picked, it seems like NYC's getting at least two or three or more more supertalls and an extenstion of the skyline!

This is a new CBD, bigger than the WTC!

What's the height of the tallest tower in each one of the plans? The one with the tallest will most likely be the one we'll want built.

The only one I don't want to be built is the one with those 4 utterly massive boxes and all those crazy colors.

If McSam proposed the tallest tower then you would vote for that. We need good architecture and urbanism not "the tallest tower".

I would sure as hell as long as you don't puke when looking at it.

Sorry, buddy, but from what I have seen, the only plan that actually looks bad doesn't seem to have the tallest towers, so I'm quite pleased about that. Therefore, right now, all that matters for me is height until I see more details.

HOLY SHIZZO!!! This is freakin' awesome. Right now the one's that I like are Brookfield, Vornado, and Tishman. Those three are just spectacular.

Brookfield and Durst are just amazing projects
But I think that even the last project looks quite good

BTW: This is absolutely unbelievable: WTC, MoMa expansion, Gira Sole, Hudson Yards, etc.... holy cow...

PS: I've got one question: Why couldn't they build something above the highway? Now there would be a problem with to much noise.

I was looking at the Vornado proposal again and one of the towers looks a lot like the Gira Sole. Although I'm not sure if it's part of their actual proposal.

I'm going with the Related Co. plan, although i like the massing and scale of the SOM plan, i'm just not into the twisting/offset thing the towers are doing, (going back to the 9 tower plan that they came up with for ground zero, I'm still trying to figure that one out...?)

Related seems (to me anyway) to have the best group of architects, allthough i'd rework the massing of there plan closer to the river.

The tallest building in the Related plan is 1,300 feet tall.

The Brook./SOM Tower is 1,300 feet tall.

The triplet tower one is 1,238 feet tall.

The NewsCorp one is about 1,100 feet tall.

The biggest tower in the Tishman one is 3MSF, but no height yet. It must be 900'+

Curbed is missing one, I think.

Brookfield is the best! Why? Well, it has the tallest building so far with a 1,300 footer. Not only that but it also has more height variety among it's towers wich makes it look really well in the skyline. They also plan on preserving the high line completely. Related also looks awesome, it'd be the second best. The tallest tower in the Verdado/Durst looks too much like the John Hancock in Chicago. The rest are all boring...
