She isn't holding any flag colors or weapons
She isn't riding on lions or tigers
She isn't wearing any jewels or crowns
She isn't calling war cries or blessing anyone
She isn't divine or godly

She is just elegant, egalitarian and enviable
She is languorous, dreamy, looking away from the nation, away from her sons, out across the Arabian Sea....

Her wistful westward gaze into seas from landmass, symbolizes the linkage of cultures and ideas transported via seas from lands around the world.

And thats Mother Kerala. She isn't a goddess to worship, rather a mother to be loved. And its this representation that makes Kerala different from other Mothers that often symbolizes the egoistic argues of its sons....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KERALA

Well! She can be a mother & a goddess (they are not mutually exclusive)
