The CBD is finally waking up from its slumber. Today along biashara street I counted 3 construction sites. All three sites were former indian mum n pop shops that have been brought down within the last few weeks.

In addition to the 3 construction sites, we have the hotel next to city market (yet to be named), baraka hotel next to it (excavation ongoing), hazina, parliament towers, the new building by the catholic church (right next to cardinal otunga plaza), the proposed majani towers, uon towers.......etc

New building next to Cardinal Otinga Plaza

Its a separate building but the overall design is similar to Cardinal Otunga Plaza ie the design of the balconies, the blue glass etc

New office block at the junction of Waiyaki Way and Ring road Westlands

Right next to delta. The sign board thats just been erected shows that its designed by Bowman architects. No render yet.

New bulding u/c opposite sarit centre on the lower kabete road side

Its a massive construction site and the plot is rather large. I could not take a photo of the render displayed but it'l be a sizeable bulding.

I hear Pan African Insurance wants to put up a 30 storey building in Westlands. Hope someone will stumble on some renders.
