UAP Park Towers
In June 2008,UAP Provincial Insurance appointed Acorn Management Limited as Project Managers to assist in developing an iconic, prestigious and inviting landmark office development that reflects the success and its excellence as one of the leading insurance companies in East Africa.

The entire development consists of a 24 storied tower that will offer approximately 227,111 Sq. ft of let able space. This development will also be the headquarters for UAP. The property lies strategically at the brow of the Upper Hill area from the city's Central Business District, an advantage enjoyed by few properties in Nairobi

The small windows make it look like a 1930's New York building.

Is this deliberate? I personally prefer more glass.

Glass finishing is awesome, but if they give it some form of clearly painted steel finishing it should just be able to look fine when combined with glass as NSSF Complex and NHC Towers (UpperHill) prove.

I think it is already built and id not exactly as shown but appears slightly smaller but a nice looking building.... Kweli these UAP guys know how to enjoy insurance premiums!!!!

Here, Symbion demonstrates its commitment to sustainable architectural development via the articulate employment of environmentally friendly local and imported materials to create an energy efficient structure.

Commissioned to design and implement a 7-storey office block to serve as headquarters for UAP Provincial Insurance Co as well as other private blue chip tenants. Landscaped gardens and gatehouse with plant room spaces also form part of the design concept.

Chui,the Developer of that Building was UAP Insurance. They then leased it to Equity Bank.

Wonder how long it will take some of these banks to build their corporate HQ. Especially Equity and KCB (Kencom will become too small eventually for a corporate HQ.) Maybe after they complete their expansion activities.

Their are two UAP Office structures in question.

First
UAP Centre | Complete (Equity Bank Anchor Leaser)


Second
UAP Towers | CONSTRUCTION TO COMMENCE 2010

The entire development consists of a 28 storied tower that will offer approximately 227,111 Sq. ft of let able space. This development will also be the headquarters for UAP. The property lies strategically at the brow of the Upper Hill area from the city's Central Business District, an advantage enjoyed by few properties in Nairobi. The proposed development is estimated to cost a total of Kshs 3.03 Billion. Construction is slated to begin in 2010.

Both of them are situated in UpperHill.

Mike they mention that its on a prime reserved estate at the edge of the UpperHill area although Iam yet to establish the exact location.

It also seems that they have increased the number of proposed flrs from 24 to 28.
