Working as an architect in Edinburgh

Hello!

I intend to move in Edinburgh this year, and I had several questions regarding the different architecture offices, the salaries, and the working conditions.
It would be so kind of you to help me on the matter. I would like to work as a project manager in an architecture office, but I lack informations about it...

I was also wondering if this forum is the best website to ask those kind of questions, but I couldn't find any better website. If you know one, I would be most grateful!

I also apologies for my mistakes, for I am french and english is not my mothertongue...

Thank you in advance!

Are you an Architect looking to manage projects or a Project Manager?

It's not very common (unless you are looking at very large multi-disciplinary companies like AECOM etc.) for architectural practices in Edinburgh to employ Project Managers.

Oh I'm an architect looking to manage projects (designing, but also meet clients and work with them, having some responsability...). I'm sorry, I thought it meant the same...

Ok just checking! Many practices with positions available will just advertise on their website or social media so start following as many as possible. It’s also worth keeping an eye on RIAS Jobs and Urban Realm.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
