Commercial Observer: Cops Moving Several Offices Across the Street to 375 Pearl Street

The NYPD is moving several units from its headquarters to 18,000 square feet at 375 Pearl Street between Avenue of the Finest and Madison Street, The New York Post reported. Offices for the federal monitor, inspector general and compliance units will move to the 22nd floor of the City Hall-area building.

The plans call for the installation of floor-to-ceiling windows on the top-half of the building, which is also known as Intergate.Manhattan. Windows will be added to the north, east and south sides of the building, while existing windows on the west façade will be uncovered from inside the structure.
All told, about half of the 1 million-square-foot building will be allotted for office space, with the lower half dedicated to data center space.

I have such whiplash, because I saw the flick photo, earlier, and thought the original (circa 2008) Taconic project was still happening...

Though, I think Verizon had some legal issues (bottom of the page), which may have contributed to the former project never occurring.

...but I guess the current plan is still cool...
