Yep. The Twins were an iconic focal point on the skyline. What we have now is just so vanilla and an insult to those affected by the tragedy.

Even the new 7WTC pales in comparison to the original. Yeh it's slick but it could go anywhere.

Agreed. I feel like I'm the only one who prefers the original 7WTC to the newer, blander version.

I liked the color, shape and size of the original building much better. I also loved that view looking south from the ESB with 7WTC blocking out some of the twins while they towered over the city behind.

I didn't like the old tower but for its color. The new one is far superior in just about every way.

Wedding Planning Startup Ties the Knot at 7 WTC

Quote:
The five-year-old company inked an 11-year, 30,000-square-foot lease for the 39th floor of the 52-story office tower, landlord Silverstein Properties announced today. Asking rent in the deal was $80 a square foot. Zola will move into the space later this year.
this tower is still virtually filled despite the recent additions to the campus. Only the 35th and 36th floors remain. There is also partial space available on the 33rd floor. Two out of 52 floors comes out to 3% of the entire occupiable space left vacant.
