I can say the glass on this one is top notch. Better than the one at Skyline Tower

A question for you New Yorkers. Does this new CBD feel vibrant and lively or more like a soulless cluster of skyscrapers?

As someone who lives near the area, I would say it's somewhere in between. Definitely not vibrant, but not soulless either. The area around Court Square has changed so much within the decade. I feel like it's struggling with its new identity. There's very little pedestrian activity since there's really not much to do there and very few retail, restaurants etc. It doesn't help that the buildings being built are also uninspired. But further west to Vernon Boulevard, it does get more lively with restaurants and parks and also the Gantry Plaza Park which is almost always packed with locals and tourists.

I was about to say the same. It's a hub for Queens and reverse commute subway riders so there's a lot of coming and going.

Pls. people like me? LOOL. You crack me up, man.

Nice assumptions you made. Totally off though, thanks for the laugh. Don’t quit your day job and become a psychic, would be a bad career move.

Hate to say I'm old enough to have seen 'Citicorp' rising on the skyline in 1989. Kind of weird at the time, because there were no internet sites following it, obviously. Completely popped up out of nowhere. ...no fanfare, everyone wondering what is that?? Even afterwards just sitting there for 20 years by itself and very little around it. Amazing what's being built and now UC in Long Island City in only the last several years.

this is probably the most interestingly shaped skyscraper currently rising in NYC.

To be fair ALTA and Jackson Park are some of the ugliest towers and literally look like a "jumbled mess."

Also, LOMEX in retrospect was and still is a good idea, but its proposed execution was the issue. Frankly, it should be underground.

I remember the time when the One Court Square was the only Tower in this area. And now itˋs a seperate Skyline!

That's a nice set of high rises and this one will be a nice addition! Just curious, is this area considered the 'downtown' of Queens? I'm obviously not from there...
