Yes, but these are all coming soon. Think after they're developed in the next few years. Which spaces are left over? Flat space that can potentially cater to the locals will be less available and turn up less of a profit. Businesses will try more to get into the middle of everyone rather than end up on the outskirts and out of everyone's way.

"an employee for the Hyatt went before city council claiming that two hotels would cause employees to lose their jobs and have their pay cut."

he or she must not understand the value of competition who is only thinking of him/herself without knowing that it will bring in more jobs to the area. more people and families can benefit for the employment opportunities brought by sheraton hotel.

8randyn-- thank you for posting the Vista Canyon Ranch renderings. When I was growing up in Southern California twenty years ago, Santa Clarita was more-or-less the hinterlands of LA County but it looks like it has changed greatly since then. It looks like it could be a reasonable commute to employment centers in DTLA and Burbank via Metrolink. How does Santa Clarita compare with some of the Inland Empire communities with commuting, housing prices, etc?

ICYMI - Entrada North east of Six Flags (Site A) and south of the 126 x 5 (Site B) is now in the early stages of creating a DEIR. - http://www.hometownstation.com/santa...comment-147905

Entrada South has completed the EIR - http://planning.lacounty.gov/case/view/entrada

Entrada Gateway (Where the Sunkist building is located) has the green fencing up around the site for the second 4-story building.

Nearby the so called 'restaurant row' along the old road is planning new development with a possible hotel and new restaurants - http://www.signalscv.com/section/24/article/136695/
