It is located in Izerskie Mountains, somewhere between Szklarska Poreba and Swieradow Zdroj.

Bledowska desert

Bledowska (Bledow) Desert (Polish: Pustynia Błędowska) is an area of sands between Błędów (part of Dąbrowa Górnicza in Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union) and the village of Klucze in Poland. The area lies mainly on the Silesian Highlands in the Silesian Voivodeship. Area 32 km˛.

The Bledowska Sands are the largest (in Central Europe) accumulation of loose sand away from any sea, deposited thousands of years ago by a melting glacier.

The appearance of a desert landscape has been created since the Middle Ages, as an accidental effect of mining (zinc, silver, coal), but the specific geological structure has been of big importance - the average thickness of the sand layer is about 40 meters (maximum 70 meters), which made the fast and deep drainage very easy. The phenomenon of mirages has been known to exist there.

During the Second World War the area was used by the German Afrika Korps for training and testing equipment before deployment in Africa.

Sniezka peak during the winter

Śnieżka (Polish) or Sněžka (Czech) is the highest mountain in the Karkonosze (Krkonoše) Mountains, part of the Sudetes mountain range, rising to 1,602 metres (5,260 ft) above sea level.

It lies on the Czech-Polish border, and a border stone is placed on the very top of the mountain. Sněžka is the highest point in the Czech Republic.

On the Polish side a disc-shaped observatory and restaurant was built in 1974, a weather station and the St. Lawrence chapel.

Debno castle

The Castle in Debno - Debno Castle is a late Gothic style knight's residence dated sometime beween 1470-80, that is the most well-preserved of its kind in Poland.

Unlike similar structures this castle is not surrounded by high walls because it was made in the late Gothic period when there was a shift from an emphasis on protection to prestige demonstrated by structural elevation and comfort. Although not as important, safety was still taken into account as portrayed by a model depicting the Castle in the 15th century. At this time it was surrounded by a deep moat and an earth and timber fortification with a palisade.

The church of Peace in Swidnica (UNESCO)

The Church of Peace in Świdnica (Schweidnitz) in Silesia was named after the Peace of Westphalia of 1648 which permitted the Lutherans in the Roman Catholic parts of Silesia to build three Evangelical churches from wood, loam and straw outside the city walls, without steeples and church bells. The construction time was limited to one year. Since 2001, the two remaining churches (in Swidnica and Jawor) are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Biecz

Biecz is a town and municipality in southeastern Poland, located in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Gorlice County. It is located in the Carpathian Mountains, in the Doły Jasielsko Sanockie, by the Ropa River. Due to its rich history, it is often referred to as "little Krakow" or the "pearl of the Carpathians." The many preserved medieval city walls and buildings have also given rise to the nickname "Polish Carcassonne."

By the mid-sixteenth century, the city was one of the largest in Poland. As a designated royal town, Biecz enjoyed an economic and social Renaissance during the 14th and 15th centuries which tapered off into a gradual decline starting during the 17th century. Today, it is a small, picturesque tourist town with numerous historical monuments.
