No, sorry, crave. I was going to wander over to Valentino's to do so but it started raining - had to make a mad dash for it!

Will try to do so today/tomorrow, weather permitting. It looks really good now with most of the barriers removed.

Yeah, it's the old CWA House. The new one is next to it, on the right.

hm, i just realised it has had a redesign, i like it
Yes, this is looking much nicer in design than previously... Looks much longer/wider though than the first render.... (so must be from other street angle)

The swimming pool on the left there should be on the roof or as a podium level though... stands away from the actual building on its own - makes it like it doesn't look like it's really part of the dvlpmt...

Perhaps they have some shared arrangement? otherwise it's pretty sneaky of them not to blank out the pool

for eg. if u compare to Royale

Royale is closer to the city mall compare to 1178... A recent transaction saw a Royale unit sold for $460k, 4th floor, 82 sqm internal, 29 sqm balcony, compared to the asking price of a 3rd floor unit in 1178, $450k, 53 sqm internal, balcony around 10~20 sqm... u do the Maths

I agree - only 20 of the 120 or so apartments at 1178 have sold so far, so the market seems to agree as well.

perhaps that's why blackburne are having some pre-release event. I deleted the email but there was some marketing hype about having sold 30 (could be wrong) prior to being released to the public etc.

Shame we're losing this. Not many residential buildings like it. It looks very Melrose Place (ie Mexican/Spanish influence)

Yeh except this isnt Beverley Hills and Heather Locklear doesnt live there.

Could be restored, but its not a huge loss, given its relative small size and the surroundings. The cost to benefit ratio isnt stacking up to retain this one.
