good point - guessing there are a couple of levels of basement then. hopefully this basement turns out more waterproof than some others...

Actually i read your post wrong. Is your question was related to the ferry terminal or to EQ west?

As i would like to increase my guess to be what ever the depth of the river is plus some extra meters.

Sorry this is only a guess. I do not have a clue otherwise...

Is this development going to completely block out the view of trees in Kings Park? I'm going to miss those tall tree trunks, nature's skyscrapers.

This reminds me of the uproar over East Circular Quay in Sydney, where only a narrow gap remained to see a slither of the Botanical Gardens.

Yes if you stand directly behind it to the East then the view of the trees in Kings Park will be blocked. If you are like 99.99% of the rest of us your view of Kings Park will be perfectly fine.....
