Maybe he doesn't understand what cladding is
wiki: "In building construction, siding or cladding may refer to the application of one material over another to provide a skin or layer intended to control the infiltration of weather elements, or for aesthetic purposes"

The first three 5 x 3.5m elements are really there.
Evidence: http://62.206.10.222/local/viewer/cam_inner.html
The next ones will come in January - 6 a day, as promised.

Again trouble for this strange project . Hochtief construction firm and project developer demand again more money from the city and threatened the city ,the construction could need a year more , also they are more or less in time now and the construction need at all 2 Years .

I already wondered how big those two were compared. I wouldn't have thought that the Elb Philharmonie was that much bigger.

@ Denoordrotterdamer : Yes , indeed it is a superb project. Its not just The size but architecture is verry big challenge for the involved engineers and construction company. The bigger concert room ( "grosser Saal") is situated like huge stomach in the building will stretching over 11 - 14 floors , but where it is are of course no floors , no ceillings . Statical challenge. The room will be "dressed " into a white skin , an unusual , verry new material for sound proove (?) , because the building will also host several luxury condos and 240 room hotel , the concerts should not touch them.

In the "General urban developments" you will find in the thread Hamburg-Hafencity developments also some later pics of the concert-hall and the rest of "HafenCity".

Wonderful close-up shots of the cladding.

What a stunner... it's going to be incredible when it's finished. And watching the construction process is incredible to begin with!
