Because of the CIQ requirement of international operations, passengers will have to stay longer in the terminal, so the space will accommodate less passengers.

Case in point: NAIA terminal 2. Original capacity was for 9m ppa for domestic passengers. When PAL moved in and went for split operations, the capacity of the domestic wing was 5 million passengers per annum, while the international wing could only handle 2.5 m ppa. So from 9 million, the capacity went down to 7.5 million.

Thanks Solblanc for your explanations. But please, what does the abbreviation CIQ stand for?

So definitely, the arrival waiting area will be totally better once who development phases (hotel, mall) are finished.

CEB | Mactan-Cebú International Airport

Here we go again. The return of the bread pan/ceiling bread/whatever episode 4...

With all the other more expensive features GMCAC placed on the airport, i dont think they opted to skip placing screens and skrimp on that part of the ceiling just because "kinulang sa budget".

Sus wa gyud diay na ka kahibalo whats the ultimate plan ana? They will apply coating of spoiled milk to promote growth of alagae. They will take inspiration from old baroque churches.
