432 park macht andere supertalls in dem gebiet nun zwingend erforderlich, damit dort wenigstens eine imposante wildwuchsskyline entsteht.

die seitliche fassade ist aber leider kacke. ich weiß nicht, wie man das nennen soll, diese zufalls-kästelung, die man zuletzt häufig um den globus gesehen hat, aber sie sieht auf sehr ungekonnte weise verspielt aus.

Wenn man da vielleicht noch irgendwie ein paar Art Deco Elemente in die Fassade integrieren könnte, hätte der Entwurf echtes Potential.

^ Bei dem hege ich auch Hoffnungen, der Abschluss sollte aber erstmal Priorität haben, so passt das einfach nicht. Krönchen drauf, eine Spitze, mehr Fenster, weiß der Kuckuck.

Robert A.M. Stern - Klassische Perlen für New York City

Es sind wenige, aber es gibt sie noch: Architekten, die Manhattans unvergleichliche Hochhaushistorie respektieren und architektonisch reflektieren. Neoklassisch eben.

Einige aktuelle Projekte von Robert A. M. Stern in NYC:

15 Central Park West, 30 Park Place, 220 Central Park South, 520 Park Avenue

520 Park Ave wurde gerade erst angekündigt, natürlich für die "Billionaires Row". Siehe. Ich finde, die Entwürfe könnten noch konsequenter klassisch ausfallen, mit zeitgenössischen Ornamenten und dergleichen spielen. Würde Stern sicher auch machen, liegt wohl eher an den Investoren.
