I vote they lose in the 2nd round and avoid the whole scheduling conflict all together.

Citi Field is better than the other options that were in play I suppose.

NYCFC really needs their own stadium. This is such an unhappy marriage for both teams. As of next season the Yanks will be the only MLB team that shares their stadium with team of another sport. Since no cookie cutter stadium is still in use today, we all know well that sport specific facilities are a necessity in the 21st century.

Option 3 is likeliest. We'll lose to Astros but won't be in any less than 6.

This Yankees team isn't that great. Wouldn't shock me at all if they lost in the ALDS.

Neo Classical architecture is not unique to one country or a regime. But mallparks are definitely 21st century.

Any location ideas? I'd vote for Woodlawn Cemetery. Best location come playoffs.

Yeah that would be a a great location, if it wasn't for thousands of dead people occupying the land....

Sunset over the stadium as Princeton and Dartmouth face off.

Why do they keep insisting on doing the square corner grow outs on all these things? They've just created a few more obstructed view seats in the adjacent sections.

I disagree, More and more fans want areas to mingle and interact during the game.

Watching the game isn't enough?

Nah, I think unfortunately we've now become conditioned as a society to multitask and constantly be stimulated/distracted. And this is especially challenging with baseball where there is so much downtime

I never said that, but it's nice to have some room to move around when you do. If you want to grab some food, or run to the bathroom, you don't have to make 15 people stand up...twice.

There are still tens of thousands of seats in the stadium. If you don't want to visit the standing room areas you don't have to. Personally I think I'll enjoy them.

Baseball very easily has the oldest fanbase of all the major US sports. Generations change, and that's ok. No, watching the game isn't good enough. Those are all good reasons to build this.
