Melburnians seem to be a bit more enthusiastic about posting their images in the national forums than everyone else. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something i'm always noticing

It easily has the fastest changing skyline in the country at the moment so it makes sense!

Not necessarily a good thing when all the other of our major cities being photographed are basically shot from the same angle

Its changing so fast and the city has this electric BOOM TOWN type energy. Thats why I post. I can't believe the rapid rate of transformation.

Sorry if its annoying, I just love to see my city change at such an amazing rate for Australia.

Yep that also bothers me a lot. Sydney is always taken from the north or the east and brisbane is always taken from the river. A tad on the lazy side but i shouldn't complain because i never contribute anyway.

Melbourne is changing really quickly but we shouldn't forget that most other major cities are also going through some pretty big booms too. We haven't seen this level of activity and construction on the east coast since the late 19th century (especially sydney - those crane figures!). From what i've noticed, the guys in the NSW forums don't really venture all that much into the national forums, except for really big iconic projects. We could be getting a lot more variety but again, i'm in no position to complain,

The four biggest cities are all changing quite rapidly. Perth which has had a lull over the past year and a bit is about to kick off again with approximately a dozen new highrises due to start construction this year. Not quite the same number as Melbourne or Sydney but for a population of 2 1/4 million not too shabby either.
