I love this stadium and the history of the team. Had NO IDEAL where green bay was in the usa had to google it. Would love to have a superbowl in this stadium for 50 years of nfl superbowls.

Depends on whether one is talking about the complete history of the NFL, or the Superbowl era. Ann awful lot of people count '67 on for that reason, and then Pittsburgh would be the most successful in terms of trophies.

I'm only saying that because it seems like as many people from anywhere in this country feels that way as don't. And living in Milwaukee for five years, there were plenty of people in Mil town seem to feel the same way. I am all for going back to day one. And I like to think of college football as since 1905, when the rules were standardized into something like what is played today. The earliest most people here want to consider is 1936 (or even the 60s in some cases) when the AP poll became the official designation for deciding the national title.

But these standards do not seem to be a concensus by any means.

Kind of like the eagles, liked McNabb, like Reid, just not most Eagles fans (or at least the ones that have made it to games here).

Um not really. Its like an American college football stadium, or a South American football stadium. Greek theaters were always one level, but built into a hillside, were semicircular. One could sort of compare it to a roman arena or amphitheater, elliptical, minimal divisions of the bowl (except for the Coliseum and a couple other outliers) built above grade ect.

One of the great stadiums to see a game at though, especially decked out in like 3 layers of Purple.

I think it's great they might expand that venue (certainly among the best in sport, period), but have to agree the particular proposal appears ragged. I get it that it would need to cater to higher end seating to yield the best return, but it appears they made little effort to marry the interior form with the existing bowl and suite structure.

On the flip side, however, the proposal appears geared for the purpose of guaging interests in the various seating and suite types. So if the public says they want suites then I guess that's what they should get. If they were to stick with this general form, though, I'd wish they'd make it a single span and get rid of the "bridges" between the three sections. For me that segmentation of the expansion further kills the appeal.

Just build an upper tier that connects the ends of the luxury suite level. Nothing fancy.
